  • Teach the course Issues in Instructional Technology. The course examines critical issues in the field of Instructional Technology (IT). Participants discuss research articles, theoretical papers, and critical essays about issues and problems facing the field of IT today. Topics covered include philosophical foundations of instructional technology, technology affordances, media and its impact on learning, distance education, distributed learning, issues in online learning, visual literacy, media literacy, gender and ethnicity issues, the digital divide, and sociocultural issues of IT.

  • Designed and taught the interactive multimedia development course EMC598 Introduction to Authorware. Emphasis was on the use of Authorware for the development of interactive learning environments. Issues covered included needs assessment, task, content, and learner analysis, specification of goals and objectives, selection of strategies, user interface design, navigation issues, usability testing, implementation, and evaluation.
